Update:

The Board of Directors approved the Yerba Buena CBD's bylaws on November 18, 2008.  The board is hard at work to prepare to launch services in early 2009. The YBCBD Board's annual meeting is January 13 2009.

Reference:

On July 29, 2008 the Board of Supervisors voted 8-3 in favor of the Yerba Buena Community Benefit District (YBCBD).  The final ballot tally was impressive – 82.96% of properties voted in favor for a total of $1,205,824.13 or 50.58% of the total assessments.  The Yerba Buena CBD is now the largest in San Francisco’s history. Services for the new district are scheduled to begin in early 2009.
