Update:

In June 2009 the Yerba Buena CBD Clean Team and Community Guides hit the streets!  Cleaners are sweeping, steaming, and power-washing sidewalks as well as painting out graffiti on trash cans, poles, and more, while Community Guides are learning about the area’s unique attractions and introducing themselves to residents.

On July 29, 2008 the Board of Supervisors voted 8-3 in favor of the Yerba Buena Community Benefit District (YBCBD).  The final ballot tally was impressive – 82.96% of properties voted in favor for a total of $1,205,824.13 or 50.58% of the total assessments.  The Yerba Buena CBD is now the largest in San Francisco’s history. Services for the new district are scheduled to begin in early 2009.
