Oracle OpenWorld 2008 Street Closures

From September 21 to September 25 the Yerba Buena Neighborhood will host more than 45,000 people attending Oracle OpenWorld 2008. To accommodate the large crowd of Oracle customers and partners, the following closures will be in effect:

Street Closures

Howard Street, September 18 at 8pm to September 26 at 8pm
• Between 3rd and 4th Streets – Full Street Closure

4th Street, September 19-26, 5am-3pm
• Between Howard and Moscone Loading Dock Entrance
• Eastern Lane Closure

Howard Street, September 20 at 6am to September 25 at 8pm
• Between 4th and 5th Streets – Northern Parking Lane
• Between 4th and 5th Streets – 2 Northern Traffic Lanes

4th Street, September 20 at 6am to Septmeber 25 at 8pm
• Between Minna and Howard Streets – Western Curb Lane

Crosswalk Closures

3rd and Howard Streets, September 18 at 8pm to September 26 at 8pm 
• Between The W Hotel and YBCA Theater – Northern Crosswalk

Though the streets may be closed, the Neighborhood is open, with plenty of events during the week, and public transportation to get you there. Rest assured that whether its the fine dining, arts and culture, or ample shopping you love, it can still be found in the Yerba Buena Neighborhood.
